"A total of 6,000 households in the city of Rask, Sistan-Baluchestan Province, would benefit from discounts and benefits of the Pishin-Mand sustenance market, which will play an important role in improving the economic situation of the people of this region," Mobin Ali Mir said on Tuesday.
Ali Mir further said that Pishin-Mand sustenance market is one of six such markets planned to be opened on the Iranian-Pakistan border.
He noted that the stalls of border markets will only be allocated to residents of border regions.
Sustenance border markets are set up to help improve the livelihood of people living in a radius of 50 kilometers from the border, said the official, adding that people can trade up to $400 per week in the markets without observing customs formalities.
